The mission of Faith Formation at Church of the Most Precious Blood and St. Theresa of Lisieux Parishes is to support parents in their role as primary educators of their children in the Catholic faith, as well as to accompany students and families on their walk with Christ.

Our staff, directed by the pastor, offers the following supports to help you guide your child's faith development:
 

• Dynamic, interactive in-person classes, led by dedicated and knowledgeable catechists, using the most up-to-date text and workbooks bearing the Imprimatur indicating conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church 

• Frequent teaching Masses held throughout the year to help families engage more fully and draw closer to Christ in the liturgy, including Family Masses for elementary students and Youth Masses that coincide with the class schedule for grades 7-10

• Arts-based activities using music, art, crafts, and drama to bring Catholic teachings to life

• Service projects that encourage students to answer Christ's call to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, care for the sick, and welcome the stranger

• Rigorous programs that prepare students for the sacraments of Penance and Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation

• Scheduled opportunities for students to encounter  Christ's mercy in the sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation at least once each year

• Special sessions and one-on-one meetings for parents requiring assistance with their child(ren)'s faith formation
